VEGAS SONG IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TALENT CONTESTS 

  • Our main purpose is to raise funds to feed the hungry. 
  • All live shows will include Las Vegas entertainment. 

YOU MUST AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION AND $100 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.

WHY ARE WE CHARGING A FEE?

  • First of all, this is a fundraiser. Your $100 will feed 50 hungry children!   
  • You’ll receive a collectible “Vegas Song Contestant” T-shirt! 

HOW ELSE WILL FUNDS BE RAISED?

HOW DO I GET PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR ME?

  • Create your own campaign on social media. 
  • Send your fans to vegassong.com to vote for you. 
  • Create a business card with your contestant number on it. 
  • Contact local media about you and the Vegas Song Campaign. 
  • Submit an absolutely AWESOME audition video, bio and photo. 
  • Pick an upbeat song since our “Vegas Song” is high energy.   
  • Volunteer at your nearest food bank to boost your profile. 
  • Be creative! 

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

  • You MUST read and agree to ALL the terms and conditions. 
  • You must be female and over 18 the day you apply. There’s NO age limit. 
  • You must be a U.S. citizen residing within the United States. 
  • Submit all required items and a non-refundable $50 application fee. 
  • You must not be under any contract that would prohibit you from applying. 
  • The TOP 40 must pass a background check and drug test. 
  • You’ll be listed in the order your application is received. Don’t delay! 
  • You’ll be assigned a Contestant Number (this does not affect rankings). 
  • The FIRST VOTE per contestant in each round is FREE. 
  • Voters must register and create an account (to prevent double voting). 
  • Voters can select favorites as they scroll then later review before voting. 
  • Voters can search by NAME, CONTESTANT NUMBER or STATE.   
  • Fans can BUY more votes to support multiple contestants and the cause. 
  • $10 buys 10 votes.  $25 buys 50.  $50 buys 100.  $100 buys 200 and so on. 
  • Registration ensures that funds go to the food bank in their region. 
  • Voters can opt to let Feeding America decide where help is most needed. 
  • Fans who buy $100 or more in votes get a Vegas Song t-shirt.  
  • You can vote and buy votes for yourself. 
  • If eliminated, your fans will know they still helped people in their state. 
  • The Vegas Song Campaign will not sell anyone’s information.
  • Fans who buy votes may receive a thank you email from their local food bank and/or parent organization and can opt out of future emails. 

THE TOP 1000 (PRELIMINARIES)

 
  • Fan voting only will determine the TOP 1000 contestants.  
  • The Preliminaries last about 3 months. This is your opportunity to grow your fanbase and get votes. Only the TOP 1000 in votes move to the next round to determine the TOP 40 who will be invited to Las Vegas to compete in our LIVE SHOWS.   
  • The TOP 40 will be determined by two factors. First, our judges will first score each of the TOP 1000 based on vocal talent and other factors. Second, we’ve created a weighted point scale. The more votes you get, the more points are added to your scores. (Details will be provided when the TOP 1000 are announced).
  • The next 10 will be ALTERNATES (in case a contestant is disqualified or decides to discontinue their participation).  Those declining to continue will be replaced by the next alternate. 
  • Alternates may replace a contestant who fails a drug or background check. 
  • Voting in all subsequent rounds will be by fans only.

PRELIMINARIES COMPETITION:

(All Online)

  • Fans can vote ONCE in each round for as many contestants as they like. 
  • Fans can vote as many times as they want throughout the competition.
  • Our judges will review and score the TOP 1000.  
  • Judges score and points for votes determine the TOP 40.  
  • Only the TOP 40 Contestants come to Las Vegas to perform. 
  • Those ranked 41 – 50 will be alternates.
